As you'll see I enjoy a variety of styles and subjects.

Making images is a fantastic expression and really sums up my enjoyment of photography.

I'm very much an Opportunist Photographer, and strive to keep a keen, alert eye for an image wherever it may occur.

Being out and about, chasing stunning or fleeting light and capturing a brief moment that only you saw is really fulfilling. On occasions when that's not possible then a few quiet moments creating a still life at home is just as much fun.

Photography provides a little calm in a rewardingly busy life. Its a wonderful combination of artistic expression, technical know-how and legwork.

I began taking photographs at secondary school, just snaps of my schoolfriends on a Kodak S100 film compact. I also photographed local events we went to as a family, the comings and goings at my local airfield as well as the scenes and pals at my Saturday job at Baginton Bedding Plants nursery.

Many of these early roots are still evident in my images now, especially with a recent return to people photography, and in the enjoyment of the events and rallies which entertained us a family.
