I am enjoying every moment of taking photos and post production, I like to take the view that photography has no guidelines so experimenting is key to my enjoyment and that photography should be just that.

all photo's on my stream are taken by me on a camera, most have been taken and presented in such a way as to give an atmospheric, cinematic or dramatic feeling to you the viewer.....that is my style and I hope you like it.

I would just like to say many thanks to all who visit and comment on my stream, it really is very much appreciated and for those who make me a contact, a big thankyou to you too, but if I don't reciprocate please don't be offended, my wife and I run our own business and although I try hard, sometimes there is not enough time in the day to keep up! rgds Michael.

I do not mind my images being used for blogs, but I have copyright on all my images and expect full credit when an image is used and that means the link must be directed back to flickr, I do not allow anyone to take my images and use for their own profit unless they have contacted myself or Getty images to arrange for a license to use said images.

I have a number of Flickr heroes but Michael is up there at the top. Mike's photography is an inspiration to me, I do not process HDR (yet) but I do appreciate his work and dedication to his art. I recognise many of the places he captures and I believe this has made me look at everything in a different way than I did before. It is not often an older sibling follows his the youngers example, but I now have a great hobby that allows me to explore my world all over again. Thank you for opening my eyes and mind Mike. Stocks/Michael is an outstanding photographer. I am a big fan, and particularly love his HDR work, which is always an inspiration and technically brilliant. With quality assured in every shot, coupled with an eclectic range of subjects, his photostream is not to be missed and is guaranteed not to disappoint.

Michael was one of my first contacts when I came onto Flickr. I have always enjoyed his take on life through his stream. Being reasonably local I have had an interest in his shots because I can recognise the locations and aspire to taking similar images.

Michael's work is never disappointing, his HDR is is expertly handled, I am not a big fan of HDR usually, but he has mastered it so well there is nothing to sugest falseness, indeed it is dealt with so well it must be discribed as "stunning work".
