Quite new to photography in comparision to others (6 years or so) but I enjoy it immensely, my biggest passion I suppose is taking a 'normal' looking photo and turning it in to a work of art using photoshop or other media, to see 'something from nothing' is a huge thrill, I usually prefer bright & colourful. Photography is a huge creative outlet for me, I can't paint or draw or make fabulous jewellery, but I can take photographs and I can turn them into something I love! Constructive critisicm is always welcomed on my work as long as it's an idea or option, or a way of doing it differently, derogatory remarks are not helpful!

I live in Basildon, Essex, but have a wonderful caravan on Winchelsea Beach in East Sussex where we spend long weekends (Thurs pm - Sunday evening) and where we usually tour around taking our photo's. I am 49, with the big '50' looming in Feb 2010, but with a holiday to Grenada to coincide, it definately softens the blow! In a permanent extremely happy relationship with Gezz Moore (moore_gerry on Flickr), blonde, blue eyes, 5ft 8 (that's me not him!!) could definately do with losing more than a few pounds (that's both of us!) A bit of an extrovert, who likes the good things in life, enjoys laughing and loving and enjoying herself, happy, bubby, enthusiastic, sociable.

3 kids all grown up (thank goodness!), 4 wonderful grandchildren (who I believe are gods gift, for not killing your own children :-)

I would like to thank all my lovely contacts and other viewers of my photostream for their comments, and also for all the help and support I have been given on here.

Last but not least, the biggest thanks, inspiration, love and devotion goes to my 'other half' Gezz, with whom I would not have been 'shown the way' and learnt that my creative skills could not only find a wonderful outlet with my photography but has evoked a passion that we both share.
