Everything I say is exactly one half serious.

This past spring, I decided it was time to stir things up, so I gave all my things away, left Portland, OR and flew up to a secluded village on an island in SE Alaska, to pack fish with my sister. This place is amazing in some ways, and in many others it is nothing of the sort.

Anyway, the pictures I have on here are partially an attempt to experiment and post the results in a place where people can offer suggestions (which are welcome and encouraged!), since I've hardly ever picked up a camera before July 2006. They are also partially here as a photojournal for friends around the world. I miss and love them.

I write things. I love pregnant pauses, and subtlety, though often blatancy is more fun.

I'm also an incurable flirt, and frequently vacillate between affectionate lovebutton and skeezy bastard. Go figure.
