My name is Stine Sandvold and I'm an art painter in Norway. In addition to oil painting I also do writing and i love playing with different materials and techniques to discover other ways to express my self. My work are influenced by several famous artists such as Edvard Munch, Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dali and Odd Nerdrum, but mainly it reflects my life.

I am an authorized art psychotherapist, and hope in the future im working as an arttherapist helping children with different problems or needs.

You may wonder what arttherapy is?

Arttherapy is a psychotherapic method which is based on creative expression together with the personal conversation.

The arttherapeutic approach opens up for expression and dialog; a method that can be expessially suitable for people who have difficulties with expressing feelings and thoughts verbally.

An arttherapist have the knowledge to the psychology in expressing themselves through nonverbal communication and symbols, and uses their own experiences and insight in the creative process in a therapeutic relationship.
