Some of my most favorite and accomplished photographers comment very little, and I understand that commenting is a different aspect that many people enjoy. I appreciate all aspects of the community and endeavor to be a thoughtful participant.

Richard is a very talented photographer whose work inspired me to try to do better myself. I still learn a lot by simply browsing and studying his images, and from the aesthetics he achieves with different lenses (including challenging, but rewarding "vintage" glass). I"ve once read an article on bokeh on his blog that inspired me to keep pushing with my own photography when I suffered from lack of motivation and self-doubt. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm impressed with his ability to create beautiful work even with the simplest subjects most photographers would simply walk by. I can only recommend Richard's beautiful photography and it's always a pleasure to see his latest work.
