I am a firefighter for over twenty five years and I love photography. I have been capturing images for over 30 years, since I was young. In the past few years I have combined photography and my experience in firefighting. Because of that, I have been taking photos for Firefighter 1 classes and firefighter training. This started because of a photography class I took at Corning Community College. I took the opportunity to make some extra money doing what I love.

I graduated with an Associates Degree in Fire Protection Technology and I am currently working on my B.S. in Public Affairs in Emergency Management from Empire State College. As much as I love learning and helping people, my passion has always been photography.

I have taken one photo that is special to me because it was a good friend of mine who was a volunteer firefighter. After five years of firefighting he never had the chance to go to a house fire because of his work. One day we were called to a house fire and he got to go. I just so happened to have my camera with me and I took the photo of him spraying water up to the windows of the house. With the winter snow and the lights from the trucks, it was a great shot. It was a once in a lifetime shot and it happened to be a friend of mine. It was also that shot that got a lot of people loving my work with the fire department and asking if they could buy a copys of my photos. So after thinking about it and talking to my wife, I started to work on taking more photos and FireHaus Photography started. I love what I do.

I am currently taking my passion and expanding it into an artist studio for all forms of artwork media. This will be for all artist that want to come in and create their artwork for sale to outlets. This studio will be also a teaching platform for those who want to learn from the start, for those who want to better their artwork or, those that need an outlet for selling images.
