Artist's Statement 2005:

"For me, creativity is a surge of emotion demanding to be released that I channel into a painting. The early years of this endeavor took me into realism combined with a touch of the abstract, especially with form and color. Over the next two and a half decades, I moved more and more to things of the mind and eventually eliminated all intentional traces of realism. The mind allows us to go beyond the limits of consciousness to where we really live. It is from this level that true abstract expression arises, and gives us a glimpse of what we really are."

Stewart Pelton, passed away leaving all of his artwork behind. Stewart was educated and trained in New York and made a living doing interior designs and building projects.

His abstract expressionistic work is truly unique.

Stewart's daughters are very interested in selling his work and seek input from art specialists to help us accomplish this.
