Digital strategy and communications consultant, petrolhead, adrenalin junkie and photographer. I have had some of my work exhibited at Stephen Bartells Gallery when it was open in London and when Leica Mayfair hosted a summer exhibition of SBG members.

I've been taking photos since i was a kid and got my hands on the family brownie and 8mm cine camera. A trip to Moscow to compete in the World Student Games gave me a chance to get my first SLR a Russian Zenit with a 35mm lens. Years later I traded that for a nice little Miranda and then over time tried various Canon Sureshots and the like before getting one of the early Canon Ixus digital point and shoot, tried a Bronica Medium format but hated it and traded that for the first Canon DSLR a 300D with a couple of the kit telephoto lenses.

I've become much more serious about my photography over the last 4-5 years in particular as I started to shoot with a Leica. First indulgence was with a little D-Lux 4 which I still keep as a good all round pocketable point and shoot. However, it was an M series I really wanted and I managed to get a barely used M8 and bought a new Voigtlander 35mm f1.4 Nokton Classic to go with it. Over time I've upgraded and added more prime lenses before I had all my kit stolen but managed to replace it thanks to my insurance.

I now have the following: Black Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm super wide Heliar 4.5 aspheric, Leica 28mm Elmarit 2.8, Lomograph 32mm Art lens, Voigtlander 35mm Nokton 1.2 aspherical, Chrome 50mm pre-Asph Leitz Summilux 1.4 and a Leica 90mm 2.0 Summicron. I've also started to experiment with different film formats with a double stroke Leica M3, Polaroid SX70, Spectra, Onyx and a MINT SLR670M using Impossible Project film and a Hasselblad 500CM medium format with Zeiss T* 80mm 2.8.

The aim is to keep trying to get better.

I'm interested in a wide range assignments from commercial to private. Always looking to develop my portfolio including some more 'alternative' stuff when I get the chance which I post on another site - details available on request ;)
