My name is Jeff and I own a photo business called JAX Photography. I have been shooting mostly weddings, but now, thanks to some friends at Red Bull, I am shifting my focus toward actions sports.

I also shoot pro hockey. I've worked for the Peoria Rivermen, Bloomington Prairie Thunder and Blaze, and prohockeynews.com. Most of the stuff on my photostream is pretty old - from back when I edited on a crappy, normal POS laptop. I can see that I might need to do a little color correction now that I know what the hell I am doing. =-)

I had been shooting with a Canon 7D, but have moved up in the world and now shoot with a 1DX, Canon lenses, Pocket Wizard Mini and Flexes, and 3 Canon Speed Lights. I see some Ranger Quadras in the near future and some Ranger RXs later on down the road. I highly recommend getting a 1DX if you have the means. It's the sickest camera I've ever used.

I play hockey, lift weights, ride and jump MTB, skate just a little still, and eat Paleo.
