I really enjoy shooting natural scenes and subjects. There's so much beauty and grace in the wild. I love the way we all see the world from different angles and often with different focus. Because of this, when making a photograph, I hope capture a view or detail that is a bit unique so I have something to share with other photographers.

I'm also a bit of a "gear head" in that I love trying out new equipment, software and technologies to flex my artistic muscles. Sometimes this has truly awful results but, in the end, each experiment teaches me something of value, or at least that's the hope.

This is why I'm here on Flickr, to take a peek at how others see the world, explore what they do to make their photos and show a bit about what I see when I look through the lens.
