Steve Oliver Imagery

Hi.

My name is Steve and I'm an amateur photographer.

I have always been interested in photography, from way back when I had my first Kodak Instamatic 126. I remember wanting to produce a book (I was only about 10) proving it was possible to take great pictures with an Instamatic. I'm sure it was, but I never did it!

Anyway, I was amongst the first people I know to move to digital (a 1Mp Olympus compact - not that it was very compact), then an Olympus C3030WZ, then when I broke that an Olympus C8080WZ (an astonishingly good bridge camera), and finally the move to SLR in May 07, when I transferred to Pentax (cos my Dad used to like Pentax - and I always like to go with the underdog- Pentax not my Dad!) and who wants a camera that everyone else has got!? Like cars!

So a Pentax K10D ... and now a K-7... and it's bostin as they say in the Black Country... :)

If there was an award for people who underestimate themselves or who are never too busy to dedicate their time to give constructive feedback Steve would win a gold medal. Wandering through his photostream takes you on a most enjoyable journey and you can sense the true pleasure he experiences when clutching his beloved camera. He makes discussing photography fun and is a real leveller if you ever wander from reality. So, if you look upon photography as a heavy subject or think you are too good.... then this is not the place for you. Otherwise, browse and enjoy some great shots of the highest quality....
