I spent many years playing in signed bands touring & recording. Played everything from The Reading Festival to Club Quatro in Tokyo to some scuzzy shit kickin bar in the middle of nowhere Idaho USA, even appearing on the telly a few times.

I ended up touring the US extensively for a number of years and began taking pictures on the road to alleviate the surprising tediousness of life on the road. Back in my native London I started shooting bands. I found it easy to find the shots I was looking for. It was a world I was completely at home in and my pictures seemed to show something more than just someone singing into a microphone.
