Over the course of his career as an attorney, Steven Guynn has devoted a portion of his time and energy to pro bono representation, helping worthy causes in the New York City metropolitan area. Among these, Mr. Guynn recently represented the Alliance for Sensible Airspace, a coalition of cities, towns, officials, and citizens opposed to proposed changes to flight paths at several airports in the Tri-State Area. Steven Guynn led a multifaceted legal and lobbying campaign against the Federal Aviation Administration, citing the environmental and noise pollution that might arise from the changes. As part of his efforts, Mr. Guynn established nonprofit entities for the Alliance for Sensible Airspace, prepared arguments that detailed Clean Air Act violations, and testified on behalf of the organization in public hearings, both in his hometown of New Canaan, Connecticut, and elsewhere.

Aside from his work in the pro bono arena, Steven Guynn leverages more than 30 years of experience in transactional law. Mr. Guynn worked as a Partner and Practice Leader for Jones Day as well as for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, during which time he worked in offices in New York and London. Enjoying an impressive professional and academic history, Steven Guynn began his legal career as a Clerk under Senior Circuit Judge Monroe McKay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.
