I'm married and live in NYC. I love the City and particularly Central Park.

 

Every year I try to shoot the Mermaid Parade in Coney Island and also Open House NY (I just stay within Manhattan). I've also started shooting Dance Parade NYC. I've traveled a lot, mostly for work so I've seen a few other places. My favorites include Paris, Barcelona, and, more recently, Siem Reap (Cambodia, the site of Angkor Wat).

 

I was a literature major, but now I feel lucky if I read the Sunday Times Magazine. My favorite writers are are Baudelaire, Dickens, Hemingway, Vonnegut, Twain, Dick Francis, O'Henry, and Gregory McDonald.

 

My favorite artists are Monet and Rodin. In general, I like Impressionists, Fauves, and Magritte. I also like Gaudi and Mutaner and more generally, Art Deco, Art Nouveau/Secession, and Beaux Arts.

 

I joined Flickr in late in 2006, and it's been great. I've seen so many wonderful and inspiring photographs. I'm thrilled that some of these photographers like my work, too. Plus, I've encountered some very kind and interesting people. Overall, Flickr has been a source of fun, inspiration, and encouragement. I'm grateful to each of you and look forward to more.
