Most of my pictures are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-Share Alike license. (Details on this license are linked from each individual picture page.)

As far as the "non-commercial" in this license is concerned: featuring a picture as an illustration on an ad-supported blog is ok (if you give credit), but any form of selling a work based on a picture or using a picture in a commercial project is not ok. Also, when used on a web site, credit should be given by linking to the original picture page.

If you are unsure about whether or not you are allowed to use one of my pictures, or if you want to use one for press, graphic design or any other purpose, contact me for permission at the email address below and mention which picture and where and how you would like to use it.
