I am a photographer living on the edge of the Columbia Gorge in the Pacific Northwest. I can’t remember when I wasn’t thinking about film and the process we call photography. My first camera was a Kodak box camera I found in my parents closet. I studied photography in a community college in Stockton, CA and worked on a local newspaper for awhile as their senior photo editor. I am self taught in nearly all that I do, but I am an avid reader and “looker” for new and innovative ways to make an illustrative impression. While I consider myself a professional (i.e. I get paid) I still find it necessary to “be taught” and find that my lessons arrive in the most unusual manner. If you were to classify my photography it would be; People, Places and Equestrian and not necessarily in that order.
