Based in Portishead, N. Somerset, England

I’ve had an interest in photography since my early 20’s but family life and work took precedence and I was never really much more than a happy snapper.

After borrowing a friends digital SLR for a trip to New York in Spring 2007 I was bitten by the bug. Two weeks after getting back I splashed out on a Canon 400D and signed up for an Open University, ‘Introduction to Digital Photography’ course. This gave me the incentive to get out and about with my camera and more importantly introduced me to Flickr. I’ve been a big fan of the site ever since.

In recent years I've slowed up on my uploads to Flickr. Partly because, for three years, wedding photography took over my life! Although I loved wedding photography a TIA in 2015 brought that to a sudden end on a professional basis so since then I've been concentrating on my Stock Photography.

I've come back to Flickr recently (2020), looking for inspiration and it's still here in abundance. I'll be uploading again soon.

I'm usually more than happy for people to use my photographs, but please ask first, and more often than not I'll forward a higher res version. Some of my photographs are also available for sale with Alamy or Photos4me

Finally, thanks to all those who take time to view and comment on my efforts.

Steve has been one of my contacts for a long while on Flickr. At least since almost the year since I have been using Flickr. His photographs are always interesting and varied. They are very well finished and a joy to see. I have seen great improvement in his photography since first taking him as a contact, and I look forward to seeing more great images from him. I am very comfortable having Steve as a contact and he is definitely a keeper!...Karyn (augray)
