I am an artist. I love the black and white mediums in film photography, and zinc plate etching. I love loads of color in painting and digital art. Slowly, all of these are merging. I love art. I love expression, and the ideas that arise. I love where these ideas lead. It is a lifelong committment. I have many art friends and I love what they do, think, and where they are headed. Some of my art friends are Natalia Gali, Dawn Robyn Petrlik, Michael Pirrocco, Michael Whaley, Bruce Rigby, Anita Allyn, Sally Wooldridge, my wife, Tara Buzash, Emily Logue, Rebecca Kelly, Charles and Lucy McVicker, Wendell Brooks, Dan Luchansky, Sean Shearer, Marilyn Dietric, Maggie Johnson, Katie Romm, Mike Gamble, Leslee McCall, Dwight Waller.
Painters I absolutely love in history are Van Gogh, Pollock, the later years of Monet, Duccio of the Early Rennaisance, Da Vinci, and many many more!
In my black and white photography I seek to de-emphasize the material and bring out the qualitative aspects that belie the individual. Also, relationships are very important to my camera lens. Most of what I do with the photograph is done in the darkroom. I hope you find these thought provoking, and also enjoyable.
