I'm an aspiring landscape photographer based in the North West of England, more specifically, just outside Chester on the Wirral peninsular. The area has quite an industrial heritage, but photographing the refinery just doesn't do it for me. Look carefully enough and you can usually find more scenic shots showing the natural beauty of the area. If I get bored with things close to home, well, there's always the Snowdonia National Park (almost) on my doorstep. And if I don't manage to find anything interesting? Well, at least I've been out in the fresh air in the midst of stunning scenery for a while.
