Steve Bohlert lives with his wife outside Pahoa, Hawaii. He enjoys shooting and sharing photographs of the Big Island, its flora, and people.

Steve is a lifelong spiritual practitioner and teacher with an interfaith background. He taught Radha-Krishna devotion internationally since 1967, lived in India, and was initiated by Lalita Prasad Thakur. He later served as a New Age leader and a Christian pastor. He’s the author of Universalist Radha-Krishnaism: The Way of Natural Devotion; A Practitioner’s Handbook and two other books. Steve lives a contemplative life, and his photography expresses it.
