I'm retired from law enforcement after 35 years and now run my own digital forensics practice, which sends me to the far corners of the globe from time to time.
Photography was, at one time, a profession, then a side-line activity, but always a passion. Since I travel to some of the world's off-the-beaten path locations as part of my work, I rekindled my passion once again.... It allows me to share my travels with family, friends, and colleagues.
I like landscapes, flora & fauna close-ups, seascapes, macro, nature, lightning, long-exposure photography, and UAS photography. When I travel, I like to capture candids of people in their local environment. I've been flying drones since 2017, but more so of late, as the technology has greatly advanced. Viewing the world from above is always fascinating.
