As a photographer, I'm drawn to colour, light, contrast, shape and texture. Architecture, scenics, transport and people are amongst the things I like to capture. If it looks interesting, I'll shoot it!

When it comes to influences, there's really only one - Jay Maisel. Somehow, everything that guy does, looks good.

The technical side is pretty unimportant - Nikon cameras and lenses, Photoshop running on a Mac, but you've got to get out there with your eyes open - whatever's in the bag will do, if the light is good.
