A Little About Me

 

I am a young man in my early 20's and born and raised in Austin Texas. I lived out in Travis Co. for 18 great years of my life, after I got out of high school it came to me that I should move on, live in other areas, and see new things. I have been making my own art since I can remember. I was one of those kids that wanted a sketchbook or paint for my B-day or Xmas.

 

Art has always been that one thing to keep me out of trouble, that one thing that could drive me to work a bit longer, and a skill that I never knew would get me to collage. Not every person is so lucky to find there passion so early in there life time.

My Art Education History

 

I started off in a normal Art class at Lake Travis Elementary School. I completed pre-k through 4 grade at this public school in Lake Way Texas about 45 mins west out side of Austin TX. From here on I was mostly Home schooling, I went to many art show, and experience many things as a young man that have helped my views on Art and life all together. In high school I was in the art club and helped with many art displays and theater productions in the auditorium at my school. I was also in technical theater classes and love building stages. Right between high school and collage I tried metal sculpting ill have to say that’s not so much for me.

 

After high school I went to a car show (Texas Heat Wave) and found my self wanting to work for a graphics shop in Dallas TX. The name of the shop is Skins and they make vinyl graphics that are put on sponsored cars and busses for advertising. I was told that if I was to work for them I would need to get a degree and so now I am at the Art Institute of Dallas studying Graphic Design. Under some of the best instructors Dallas has to offer.

 

I have started this account influenced by one of my favorite instructors at my school.

 

I hope to become a great artist and learn as much as possible about my craft.
