StepWolf is the new breed of Latin rockers eager to tell the world they are ready to carry the torch of the New Rock Generation.

Steve St. Wolf, vocalist, started his musical career in 2008 at age 12 as a drummer. A school Talent Show motivated him to play with some of his classmates under the name Bulls eye. Soon this project evolved to Sioux & the Vampires gaining more experience not only as a drummer, but this time as lead singer which gave him a new approach to improve his musical skills jumping from school Talent Shows to The Hard Rock Café - Bogotá in 2009. Since music and musicians are in constant evolution he started a new project named StepWolf as the opposite concept of his previous band. This new project became a power trio with his classmate Johnny Wolfe in the bass guitar and when they were about to release their first single in May 2011, due to project differences they decided to keep up with the project without the guitar player. Rock is a nonstop machine, and this little crisis motivated St. Wolf to bring new members to the band doing a tactical move switching definitely as the band’s front man and recruiting a new drummer to fill his place. After a serious audition process Marziani, born in Argentina, kicked in as the new guitar player bringing melodic licks and blasting solos with great ability and technique. Back as a power trio St. Wolf decided to bring another guitar player to sound bolder, so he invited Glam-RS, a classmate from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana who he met when attending and studying at the music program who landed with consistent riffs strengthening the band’s sound. ZQ another music student from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana stepped in as the new drummer with a heavy punch and a triggering beat mastered during his last summer camp at Berklee College of Music.

At age 15, StepWolf released its first single NEW ROCK GENERATION and became the first band in their home country, Colombia, to be supported by Peavey on a successful tour through local schools. The New Rock Generation concept encourages young people to take their own decisions and assume life right now without wasting time expecting to grow older to become world citizens.
