I'm a 49 year old transgender southern belle from the not so deep south (Concord, NC). I enjoy getting out with friends, Civil War reenacting, formal dresses, bow blouses, contra dancing,and writing when I can. I also have two cats (or they have me!). They are all understanding and supportive but quite confused sometimes.

In my ideal world, I would wear a bow blouse with a big poofy skirt everyday. I love the feel of a bow wrapped around my neck with a perfectly tied knot to show off the spread of the bow. The skirt with a crinoline underneath is a playful touch. Then I would change into a Civil War gown or formal dress with a bigger even poofier floor length skirt at night. I love the feel of the layers of the hoop skirt, crinoline, and satin skirt all moving together with me.
