I am a long time collector of New Zealand packaging , trading cards , stickers , star wars items , advertising etc..

I believe it is important to save and preserve classic NZ made items for the future . I began collecting trading cards in 1983 with the Return Of The Jedi bubblegum cards but didn't get more serious until about 1993 when I joined the NZ cartophilic society (email me if you are interested in joining , awesome club and great bi-monthly newsletter!) .

My packaging collection probably started about 1993 when I started saving interesting looking packets and wrappers . It's one of those hobbies where I wished I saved a lot more at the time but am always glad of what I saved as there are probably only a handful of some items the items I have in existence .

My soft drink can collection is more of a side project , I collected cans from about 1986 but stopped a few times over the years . I have also scanned a lot of old advertisements from NZ grocery mgazines which I will be uploading from time to time .
