Stephen, First of all, I can't believe I've never written a testimonial for you. I've been a fan of your work for years. (I even had a mini dance party when you added me as a contact here, don't tell anyone.) You're one of the most talented human beings on Flickr whose work inspires me daily. Whenever I want to find comfort in art I go to your stream. The softness of your photographs, as well as the vibrancy, are so unique and touching they never fail to soothe my heart. To be able to watch you grow creatively is such a gift. When I looked at your stream a week ago my jaw dropped - I couldn't believe how quickly you improved. But then I thought, "Hey, it's Stephen Maycock, I'm not surprised. He's the epitome of hard work." Your dedication is SO motivating and I am sure hundreds, if not thousands, of artists look up to you. I am beyond proud of your work and what you have achieved in the past few years. You deserve every single piece of encouragement that exists on earth. I am so glad I know you and I hope we'll be able to collaborate one day. Stephen is one of the photographers I wish I knew in person. His pictures have an amazing effect on the ones who take a look at them. He appears to be truly passionate about what he's doing; you can see it in the detailed concepts. Furthermore I do not only adore his conceptual work, but also the portraits, as they convey such raw and beautifully true emotions. It's hard to believe he's that good while he's still that young, but I think a look into his gallery could convince anybody that this guy was made for photography. Stephen, I wish you many more success to come in your life, you really deserve this!

It was an honor to meet Stephen in person this past summer at NEFG2013. It's one thing to view his photos and then (as a photographer myself) spend time wondering "Whatever creative world he goes to for inspiration and create the concepts for his photos, I want to go there!" One of my favorite photos of his is "Tumbled on tresses" (www.flickr.com/ph...). Looking at how he perceives his location(s), chooses his model(s) and then direct them in such a genuine, caring way to get the photo that he is thinking of in his head is astonishing! Honestly, Stephen is one of the most passionate photographers I've ever met and such a wonderful and high-spirited person to be around! It was a pleasure to watch him set up photo shoots and to direct those in front of the camera, I can tell once he's in the moment. photography is his favorite thing in life. Not to mention Stephen is so helpful, resourceful, and caring to other photographers too, by teaching his Photoshop tips and by adding helpful suggestions to other's shoots and editing. Stephen is such a creative soul and keeps getting better and better with photography because he is so adaptable to new ideas, changing things up, and constructive criticism.

He has an incredible mind and his photos are always unique and interesting and never like others you see around that seem to be very similar to each other. He is a great artist and I love how he initiates things that have to do with photography and comes up with creative and great ideas! I cannot wait to see what will become of him in the future!

Stephen has developed a lot lately which has made him a much better photographer. With his pieces of art he draws the viewer into his ideas and stories as it was a fairytale. They always have the best colors and poses and that touch of magic I was talking about. I don't know how he does it. Stephen told me to do this. Okay but for serious. First of all, Stephen is a super insanely talented individual, if you can't already tell by his amazing photographs. He's only been doing photography for a little while, and already he is so good. It's amazing to me how he can transform something so simple into something fantastic (like moss little sailboats, or even just people). Seriously, I don't understand how his portraits are so great. Teach me your ways! Secondly, I'm just so amazed by his progression through photography so far. Some people take a long time to get decent, but Stephen took no time at all. It's only a matter of time before he's a big shot. Also he's British, so that works in his favor too. Haha okay I am done. :) p.s. I was also really surprised no one had written him a testimonial before. C'mon flickr, get your act together!
