An arty and musical photographer living in Glasgow, Scotland with my daughter Jennifer and our cat Bosley!! I am a member of the 60 Plus Club....which is when life begins in earnest!! Also cheaper car insurance!! And my hips can tell you when the rainy weather is coming!
Love travel, and as a member of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Chorus I have travelled extensively. But, never much time for photography on these trips. Over the years I have played French Horn and sung as well as baton-waved for my own group, Scottish Chorale. Currently also singing for The Edinburgh Festival Chorus who, primarily, perform at the world renowned Edinburgh International Festival. I've just recently returned from a concert tour of China singing in the amazing city of Beijing as well as Nanjing and Shanghai.
Other loves? Music...concerts...listening, performing. Books, bookshops and reading. Coffee and good coffee shops, olives, good wine and malts. Friends and family. Water, Waterfalls and the sea....can't keep me away from them!!
I run photography workshops independently and for the local council covering everything from basic beginners courses through to more advanced work as well as photo workshops and photo days out. I am a qualified photographic judge through the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and the Scottish Photographic Federation. I am a member of Edinburgh Photographic Society.
I adore travel and the last two years have seen me visit France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and China. Apart from that there is lots to photograph in Scotland and across the border in my favourite parts of the Lake District and Northumberland.
Loves portrait and landscape photography as well as travel. Favourite places? Far too many, but, thinks Barcelona is probably the worlds most amazing city, and, as for Gaudi....words don't do his work justice, you really need to see it.
