I grew up with a Cannon AT-1 in my hands, learned darkroom techniques in school and took pictures of everything that came in front of me.
What I love about photography is that at the moment I "take" the picture, I am blind to what is actually happening. It is the only part of the process that I cannot control at all. Every moment before and after the picture I can be involved in, but when the shutter closes it is the camera and the subject interacting together...without me.
PLEASE: I am not into the banners. I would prefer you tell me that an image just doesn't work than put up a banner that simply says the photo was seen somewhere. Any other feedback, comments, thoughts, poems, phone book entries or invoices are welcome.
