Ever since I could remember I have loved looking at and taking pictures. In high school I always tried getting in to a photo class but never was able to. About two years ago, I finally had an opportunity to take a class. I instantly feel in love with photography, and to my surprise I ended up being pretty good at it too. I have also realized that I love photographing children. I love to capture just who they are in their own environment doing what they do. I am also intrigued with self-portraits. I love see other photographers self-portraits and taking them myself, too. The first semester I took photograph I was introduced to Francesca Woodman's work, who has inspired me a lot.

Right now I with a film camera which I shoot B&W with and a little point in shoot. I am hopping to be able to save up for a Canon 5D. I don't know much about cameras so I am looking forward to learning about them too.

I look forward to meeting a lot of photographers and seeing their work and to get a lot of inspiration.
