Stepbar is amazing, he lives in a smelly wardrobe and listens to the Bonzo dog doo dah band, do you need to know anymore? Yeah you probably do. What comes across with Stephen is his limitless passion for photography, if he isn’t attending a flickr meet then he’s organising a new one. His street and urban decay photography are infamous, just right for Belfast and surrounding areas, if you see a bunch of dodgy characters wandering about with SLRs then Stephen is probably one of them. Any local news or current events going on Stephen will be there with his camera if at all possible, he must have a flexible job or an understanding boss, but if something big is going down then BBC, UTV and Stephen are there, not forgetting Mooch of course. And even if it’s something short notice, like an accident or disaster, guess who’s there first? His photographs of the recent Belfast floods, in my opinion, are second to none, professionals included. He also documents his travels and family life, nothing escapes his lens, this guy lives a 25 hour day 8 days a week, I don’t know how he does it but I’m happy to call him a flickr friend.
