I first "met" Steffen when he suggested that we exchange photo postcards from Take A Class With Dave. He was so kind and sent me extra shots of his because I mentioned that my daughter collects postcards, and I started following his photostream. I look forward to seeing his new stuff every day now. He macros are stunning, he compositions are always interesting, and his sense of humor comes through in his photography as well. He's truly an amazing, talented photographer, and one that inspires me to improve in my own work.

When Steffen first contacted me on flickr some months ago I immediately noticed his excellent skills in flower and animal photography. But don't be fooled by your first sight: There's so much more to him than that! Wonderful architecture shots, beautiful and inventive stills, inspiring self-portraits, breathtakingly crisp and colorful night shots, and even the odd street photograph or two. Apart from taking wonderful pictures and constantly developing and broadening his own repertoire, Steffen is a fantastic contact and friend and you can really have a blast when going for a shoot with him.
