I'm just a beginner to photography. I've been taking pictures with my new camera since January of 2011. Bought my Canon for a trip to Australia and New Zealand, 3 days before we left. Learned how to use it while taking the pictures there.

I'm home schooling myself on how to shoot Macro too, started about mid June of 2011. I have a rose garden so I'm finding my inspiration from the care I provide for my roses. I wanted to capture their beauty since it's fleeting and their flowers are the rewards I reap for providing great care. I found Flickr from a life long friend who has been photographing for years. I emailed her some of my shots and she wrote back I should start a Flickr account. I'd like to say thank you for all the views and supportive comments on my captures, I'm humbled and inspired by looking at all the excellent captures on everyones Photostream.
