Fin da piccolo, mi sono appassionato di fotografia. Ricordo da bambino che le mie zie mi compravano quelle finte macchine fotografiche che vendevano nelle bancarelle, come ricordo del luogo. Quelle in cui guardando nell'obiettivo e cliccando un pulsante si potevano vedere delle mini diapositive con alcune fotografie del posto visitato. Guardando in un piccolo quadratino si poteva immaginare di essere in quel posto anche una volta tornati a casa.

Questo è forse ciò che mi piace della fotografia, la possibilità di dare delle emozioni, di far volare almeno con la mente.

Crescendo allora sono passato a guardare dentro un obiettivo, non per vedere le foto scattate da altri, ma per guardare il mondo col mio occhio e per catturare le immagini che mi davano emozioni.

Since I was young, I've been enthusiast of photography. I remember when I was child that my aunts bought me those fake cameras were sold in stands, as souvenirs of the place. Those in which looking through the lens and clicking a button, you could see mini slides with photos of the place visited. Looking in a small square, you could imagine being in that place even after returning home.

This is perhaps what I like of photography, the possibility of giving emotions, to let fly at least with the mind.

Growing up then I started looking through real lenses, not to see the photos taken by others, but to watch the world with my eyes and capture the images that gave me emotions.
