I am a Chicago based business development officer for a shortline rail conglomerate. Before joining the railroad, I spent 9 years in commercial banking covering shortline and regional railroads. Outside of work, I am an amateur photographer shooting mostly with a Nikon D7000 or D50 on the weekends. My love of all things railroading means most of my shots are of trains. I spend time running around the Midwest and crazy fun areas like Montana in search of trains and cool photo locations. Favorite railroads include Montana Rail Link, SouthShore Freight, IC&E (RIP), and Iowa Interstate. I grew up in Southern California so I am fond of all things scarlet and grey (Warbonnets are okay too though!).
