I'm a 38 year old computer geek who caught the shutter bug in 2005. I never owned a camera before that, but have been editing images and doing various CGI related things since 1995. Before I owned a camera I used to have photoshop documents that were 500MB big, and so many layers that I couldn't find my way back. These days I don't used layers (on my own images), and I mainly just do some color adjustments :) Getting older and more lazy I guess…

Software that I use (for photography) are BibblePro ( os x, fedora ), Gimp (fedora). And I just started to use Lightroom.

In my day job I work as a "vfx artist/supervisor/creative director". I do a lot of things, and also do a lot of Python scripting to build tools for our pipeline and various tools for Maya and Softimage.

I'm also a father of two beautiful daughters who always helps me to not be too self absorbed. I can't imagine how my life would be without these two miracles. And my "wife" (not married yet… though we really should do it… two kids later…) who don't understand me but still understand me and always has a lot of patience with me, she also helps me to keep my balance in life.

You could safely say that I don't really know what I would do without these three people in my life. I would probably be lost in the void.
