Funny..one day you wake up...and your the "old guy" at work..you know..the one who remembers when ...and how...and why.... Now that I have a camera..I want to go back and take pictures of it all. So many things to shoot..and so little time... This new appreciation of photography and digital art has me viewing even the most common, everyday things in my life with enthusiasm and a rekindled interest. I have met some wonderful people both on and off line as a result of this new hobby and for that I am very thankful. As my good friend Fred, TheWalkinMan says..."the only way to get better ..is shoot, shoot, shoot!" That's what I'm doin! I hope he's right!

I've got to say that Aaron (Steeladw) is one of my most interesting conacts. We have absolutely nothing in common with our photos except a deep appreciation of each others work. His work is amazing to me on an artistic level and he is a loyal and wonderful friend. I love his eye for seeing things that I would never see and can appreciate the beauty he shares with us. I think for a "yankee" and a "southerner" we do pretty darn well together :>) Thanks, Aaron, for all you kind comments and your fun and wit. I just love it.

Clever, creative, crafty and comical, SteelADW's talents just shine. Not only are his subjects alluring, his titles and comments show such depth of character and a true passion for this art. He's taken his multifaceted artistic gifts and combined them with determination to master the equipment and post-processing programs. Sharing is also a large part of the mixture as Aaron delights and encourages his Flickr contacts, bringing together new and experienced camera-weilders to ignite new friendships and experience all that is photography.

Watching Aaron grow as a photographer has been such a pleasure! He keeps surprising me with each upload. ;) I also believe that he has commented on each and every photo of mine; he's a wonderful flickr contact - with sincere and often times very witty comments. Aaron and I met about a year ago at a release party for the "Capture Rochester" photo book. Since then, we've stayed in contact through flickr and also during meetups for the nature photo group we belong to. I enjoy his company and friendship and look forward to seeing how his photography skills continue to improve and impress! Now, if he'd only try posting without a frame once in a while (sorry Aaron... couldn't resist!). ;) -Kim
