What I really like about Brent's photography is that everything is always natural and you get a distinct sense of the personality behind each subject in the image. Even when shots are set up, they never feel posed or stilted. There is a quirkiness and a sense of joie de vivre lurking behind every single shot - I envy him in that natural ability to just relax and capture and forget about the mechanics. I also greatly appreciate all the knowledge he shares with his flash set ups - the good, the bad, the ugly. He's honest about what he does and that is greatly reflected in the imagery.
