I am an amateur astronomer based in Central Florida. I use a 1982 Meade Schmidt-cassegrain mounted on an 1999 edition Losmandy G-11 equatorial mount. The camera is a mid first decade 2000s SBIG ST-2000XM with a color filter wheel (CFA-8A) for attempts at color imaging. I am hoping to upgrade to a larger scope and mount combination some time in the future, while remaining portable so I can head out to darker locations around the state of Florida.
