I have held my Amateur Radio Certificate since 19 March 1969 & Advanced Amateur Radio Certificate since 10 September 1971. Have held call signs VE1ANZ in Dartmouth & Halifax, NS area, In Saint John & Hartland, NB; VE3BZX in Downsview, ON; VO2AS in Goose Bay, Labrador & VE1RY in Riverview, NB & Kingston-Greenwood, NS. Over my almost 75 years I've had many occupations & interests, among which have included RCN, RCMP, Photographer & worked in several Departments at Michelin Tire Canada. During my 1st 10 years of retirement My 2nd hobby, Photography had kept me busy until getting back to my number one hobby of Amateur Radio. Finally on the 2nd of May 2019 I put VE1RY back on the air again. I didn't realize just how much I missed it until I got back on the air. My 1st Amateur Radio call was VE1ANZ back in 1969-1973, VE3BZX Jan-Sep 1970. Then in 1973-1976 I was in Goose Bay, Labrador with the call VO2AS. Next came VE1RY 1976-1981 in Riverview, NB, followed by VE1RY from 1981-1986 Kingston,NS. Then in Dec of 1986 we purchased our current home, about 5 mins away, in Greenwood,NS in the same Grid Zone.
