My name is Sergey. Photography has been a part of my life since childhood, when my father captured our family moments on a Zenit camera. Holding that same Zenit in my hands later on, I felt the magic of film and the perspective of the world through its lens.

To this day, photography remains a space where I can experiment, reflect, express feelings and thoughts, and simply document those close to me or who intrigue me. I am drawn to A. Lapin's thesis that photography is closer to poetry than cinema. Applying this in practice has been a challenge, but I decided to move beyond simple portraits and everyday sketches.

I began my journey by learning at a new photography school under Elena Sukhovyeva and Viktor Khmel, and completing a course in "Photokino" with Ilya Rashap. I am currently exploring project-based photography, tuning into my inner harmony and seeking themes that resonate with my spirit.
