English-born in the southern county of Surrey and a world traveller during the 70’s and 80’s with a major international electronics and defence company, I got interested in photography in the mid-70’s when I brought my first SLR while in the Middle East.

I particularly enjoy taking pictures of aircraft, old buildings, things mechanical, landscapes and anything else that catches my eye. Moved to the USA in 1989 as part of a job transfer and planned to stay for perhaps a year. Well, things changed..... Have lived in Atlanta since than and enjoy the regional variations of terrain and culture.

My main camera gear is all Nikon and I have a Panasonic Lumix compact for pocket-sized fun. As my photography has evolved, I enjoy challenging myself to take shots in difficult conditions and then reflect back on how my equipment and skills have evolved. All post-processing is done in Lightroom.
