As you can tell from my photostream, I like to travel and I like to sail on a 17th century style, square-rigger ship. I am a biologist who teaches Latin. (Go figure.) My family is very important to me.

Regarding artistry overall, I enjoy beauty. Colors, shapes, and textures catch my eye. My style is experimental -- whatever I haven't tried before. I'm learning, after all!

I use Canon Rebel XTi and XT2i with a variety of lenses and try to get the photo I want with the camera. I haven't invested in Photoshop, yet, but I do have Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3. I take advice from anyone who would like to improve a photo. Just drop me a note.
