Matt and I share a great deal in common. OK. Just first names. Beyond that, my friend here excels in filtering backwater Britain through a sixties beat lens. In terms of sharpening a style, his photostream is a wonderful document of where he's come from, where he is, and where he's heading. Somehow, he has a knack of getting his camera into the teeth of a conversation without appearing invasive. His subjects want him to be up close and personal, though his presence is often invisible. He's also jolly good fun, and didn't sneer when a mutual flickr friend through a hissy fit at her more rowdy contacts - blocking me and not him. I'm still mortified. Matt just kept up the encouragement and pretended it never happened. A gentleman and a fine photographer.
