I find it's high time I write a bit about this gent, so named, SpotlightKid. He and I met here on Flickr, amid a search for information about FLYFISHING. He has a rather useful database tool for us fly-fishing fanatics (Fly Fisherman's Record) and it attracted me - much in the way a good stimulator fly attracts a trout. I took the bait and have enjoyed the banter ever since. Though we've known each other for just a bit over a year, in that time we've forged a pretty solid bond, for being seven (7) time zones apart. Much of it has been through this social network of Flickr, but the lions' share has been over the GTalk digital stream; with a heavy dose of Skype along the way. I've observed, used and worked with the efforts of the SpotlightKid many times over these past months and have found him to be rock solid, honest and respectful, to his work and those with whom he deals. As his relatives on the Aussie shield would say, "... he's a fair dinkum mate...". To be sure I couldn't agree more. He has become a 'Boet' - as his countrymen say - in his native South Africa. SpotlightKid's recent ventures into eMag publishing shows his dedication to pursuit of excellence and an eye to niche markets. He has a winner there. And maybe two or three more as well. Keep up the fine work SpotlightKid. I can only look forward and upward to our continued friendship and professional association. les O'fieldstream
