Kia ora. I'm originally from picturesque Taranaki, but around 2002, I fell in love with NZ's creative capital, and with the magical art of photography. To choose a favourite subject is nearly impossible: it's like being asked what limb I want amputated. People, objects, locations, interactions are all fascinating subjects in their own ways. I just love to indulge in the simple buzz of The Perfect Capture. Photography is a language unto itself, and a great image is like a poetic verse. I am continually taken by the transformative ability of photography to take the prosaic, everyday world, and make it into something both recognisably real, and wondrously fantastic.

My images come from in and around Wellington, my adoptive home. If you chance upon someone wandering Cuba Street, taking pictures of seemingly inane things and hollering "MOVE, you fat bastard!" at the clouds, then you should carry on and pay him no mind.
