Spindle is an alternative-rock band with dark electronic undertones. Rich, lush, and melodically beautiful—these girls never shy from trying something new. Spindle’s musical style delves into numerous genres, blurring the stereotypes between pop and rock to create something completely their own, and entirely unpredictable.

The band was formed in 1999 by Gina Wong and Amber Blahnik. Bassist Tammy Lee joined in 2006 and Spindle came out with their first public release "hell hath no fury...", a limited 5 track EP. With the crucial pieces in place, Spindle has since been gaining headway.

Currently, Spindle is writing songs for several projects, making art, and loving every minute of it. As for live shows, the band is taking a break and focusing on the tedious facets of their musical lives.

Opportunities to see a Spindle show are always in the realm of possibilities. They have been known to step out of the dark spontaneously and put on a memorable performance with other amazing artists here in Bellingham.
