Being a Geography teacher, it is only natural that the love for landscapes and nature is in my blood. Photo opportunities here can be great or dismal depending on what subjects you are looking for.
Hopefully one day I can own a DSLR, but for now, it's a cheap but trustworthy portable Canon PowerShot S2 IS. Although I am still considering an upgrade to the PowerShot S5.
Currently upgraded my equipment with a Raynox DCR250. A little overpowered but works well. A Nikon 4T to being total diopter to +12.7 and a sunblitz external slave flash on a 4-way tilt hotshoe.
