I've enjoyed photography since my dad set me off as a teenager with his Ilford Sportsman camera.

There was a lull in the nineties during the digital transition phase, none of the big five were making SLRs' anymore and everyone seemed to be going compact!

I picked up the trail again about fifteenen years ago with DSLR and take advantage of living on the English Lancashire coast, hence an abundance of seascapes in my Flickr, but I also love urban and the built environment.

My main camera is the D800 but I still can't part with my old D300, it's handy for those dangerous missions.
